The annual Star Wars Day is fast approaching, and LEGO has unveiled product information for the Gift with Purchase (GWP) set, "40591 Death Star II," which will be released during the Star Wars Day celebratory events!
This set comprises 289 pieces, and once assembled, stands approximately 15 cm tall. It utilizes a large number of gray curved pieces, disc pieces, quadrilateral pieces that can form a trapezoid when two are combined, and more, to construct the surface of the Death Star. These are connected by clip pieces. The exposed, unfinished sections are meticulously sculpted to represent layered mechanisms. Despite the modest piece count, the details appear remarkably good, and the superlaser, represented by flower stems and fluorescent green bar pieces, is incredibly lifelike! The display base, featuring the 40th-anniversary commemorative LOGO for Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, is also a fantastic touch.
According to currently released international information, "40591 Death Star II" will be available from May 1st to May 7th. It can be obtained for free with purchases totaling 150 Euros or more. We eagerly await the announcement of release details for Taiwan.
