Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON (ガシャポン) capsule toy division, inspired by J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter," released a new Gashapon series in the fifth week of April 2023, a grand collection of classic elements titled "Harry Potter Miniature Collection" (ハリー・ポッター ミニチュアコレクション)!
In the world of "Harry Potter," besides various magic spells and captivating characters, some in-story items are absolutely classic enough to become iconic symbols representing the charm of its story. This Gashapon collection primarily features items of this type! It includes "Platform 9¾," the "Flying Ford Anglia," the "Sorting Hat," the "Nimbus 2000," and the screaming plant "Mandrake." Among these, Platform 9¾ has a magnetic function, allowing you to playfully attach it to metal cabinets or refrigerators, making them more interesting. The Mandrake, naturally, can be separated from its pot, recreating its startling face! The weathering paint applied to the flying car is a small detail that the editor personally really likes.
