Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, under its popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products, will release the latest item from the popular anime "Uncle from Another World": "Elf"! The suggested retail price is 6,700 Japanese Yen, with an estimated release in December 2023. Additionally, pre-orders for "Nendoroid Uncle" are also open simultaneously!
Written by Japanese manga artist Hotondo Shindeiru, "Uncle from Another World" (Isekai Ojisan) tells the story of the protagonist, Takafumi Takaoka, who visits his uncle in the hospital, who has recently awakened after being in a coma for 17 years, bringing self-sufficiency support documents. Just as he was about to inform his uncle that no one in the family wanted to take care of him, he witnessed his uncle cast magic from another world—it turns out his uncle is a survivor who returned from the other world of Granbahamal! While listening to his otaku uncle's tales of swords and magic, and encouraging him to transform into an "Isekai-style YouTuber"... the two embark on a brand new "otherworld x cross-cultural" life!
The Elf, whose real name is Suzuruguilazegalnelrureiaagranzelga Elga, is simply called "Elf" because her name is too long. She is an Elga tribe princess rescued by Uncle from the venomous dragon's poison. Because she likes Uncle, readers affectionately nicknamed her "Auntie" (Uncle's wife). Uncle occasionally transforms into her during his modern-day livestreams to boost viewership.
The "Nendoroid Elf" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, charmingly recreating Elf's signature attire. Her gradient orange-yellow hair, pointed ears, and the gem hair ornament on her head are all faithfully reproduced. She comes with three interchangeable face plates: a tsundere face, a shy face, and a flustered, captivated face when facing Uncle. Additionally, accessories include her weapon "Sword," "Sword in Liberated State," a gem "Hair Ornament," and "Stored Magic Effect" parts, allowing fans to recreate various scenes from the series!
▼When paired with the separately sold Nendoroid Uncle, Elf can finally obtain the Starstone Ring!
