GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan, known for its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand different figures, is set to release the latest " Mori Calliope " figure, following products from the VTUBER group hololive production such as "Minato Aqua," "Gawr Gura," and "Nakiri Ayame"! The suggested retail price is 6,500 JPY, with an anticipated release in October 2023.
Mori Calliope, a first-generation (holoMyth) member of the VTuber group hololive EN, debuted in September 2020 and is the second member of hololive EN to reach two million subscribers. In her lore, she is the Grim Reaper's first apprentice, but due to advancements in modern medicine making the task of reaping human souls increasingly difficult, she became a virtual streamer to attract souls "killed by cuteness." Although she debuted as a streamer, her singing and rapping skills are exceptional, and her original theme song, "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP♡ (失礼しますが、RIP♡)," garnered over a million views shortly after its release.
The "Nendoroid Mori Calliope" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, bringing her classic Grim Reaper initial outfit to life in an adorable chibi style! Her all-black reaper attire is accented with gold paint, and the tattered hem of her cloak is faithfully recreated. She comes with signature interchangeable face plates, including a "Smiling Face," a "Rapping Face" with detachable sunglasses, and a "Dumbfounded Face." Paired with accessories like a microphone, a wine glass, and a massive scythe, you can recreate various scenes, including her rapping performances.
