GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan, known for its popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand different figures, has partnered with Japanese voice acting agency Aoni Production to release the highly anticipated "Nendoroid Masako Nozawa"! The suggested retail price is 8,500 JPY, with an expected release in December 2023.
Legendary Japanese voice actress Masako Nozawa (野沢 雅子), whose real name is Masako Tsukada, began her career in 1950. At over 85 years old, she remains active on the front lines of voice acting, affectionately known by fans as "Grandma Nozawa." She has voiced popular characters including Doraemon, Kitaro, and the Son Goku family from "Dragon Ball" (including Goku, Goku's sons Gohan & Goten, and Goku's father Bardock). She holds two Guinness World Records: "Longest career as a voice actor for the same video game character" and "Longest career as a video game voice actor." Her unique vocal timbre and energetic shouts are truly irreplaceable!
The "Nendoroid Masako Nozawa" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Grandma Nozawa's stylish reddish-brown short curly hair in a chibi proportion, paired with a vibrant pink suit—capturing her distinctive work attire! In addition to a kind smiling face and a cheerful laughing face, the expression parts also include a shouting face, as if exclaiming "Ka-me-ha-me-ha~!" Accompanied by accessories such as a script used for voice acting and a stand microphone, fans can enjoy recreating scenes of Grandma Nozawa lending her voice to classic anime. What's more, it also specially includes over 10 types of sound effect lines, so it doesn't just "look" like it has sound, it actually *has* sound!
