Japanese figure manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's 'Lucrea' character figure series has announced its latest product from the popular mobile game 'Umamusume: Pretty Derby', "Sakura Bakushin O", with an expected release in October 2023.
In 'Umamusume: Pretty Derby', Sakura Bakushin O's prototype is based on an excellent short-distance racehorse active in the 90s. As a Umamusume, she is a class president character who thinks and acts in a straightforward manner, often rushing headlong into things. She is frequently seen bustling around campus to help classmates, but sometimes causes trouble by only listening to half of the instructions. In the mobile game version, Sakura Bakushin O is one of the easiest Umamusume for new players to train; by focusing solely on speed, she can easily win all short-distance races.
・Sakura Bakushin O's catchy theme song, "Bakushin Bakushin Bakushin Shin" (Charge, Charge, Charge Ahead!).
The "Lucrea Sakura Bakushin O" figure is crafted at approximately 1/7 scale, standing 22 cm tall. It vividly captures her dynamic sprinting pose on the racetrack, adorned in her magnificent racing uniform. Her explosively raised leg and dramatically flowing twin tails clearly convey Sakura Bakushin O's incredible speed. The figure also utilizes detailed color application and printing to reproduce golden areas like the shoulder tassels, the subtle cherry blossom petal patterns on her socks, and her cherry blossom-shaped pupils. Furthermore, interchangeable head parts are included, allowing you to display her with either a "smiling face" or a "serious face"!
