Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys, following the release of "Groot" and "Rocket & Cosmo the Spacedog" from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, today (18th) announced its latest product: the "Star-Lord" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship in Q3 - Q4 2024.
This "Star-Lord," making a dashing appearance with a highly acclaimed new head sculpt, stands approximately 31 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. His dark blue battle suit, adorned with red lines, is realistically crafted with varied textures and intricate stitching, while also showcasing authentic weathering effects on the chest emblem, shoulder armor, and other areas. The dual blasters can be stored in holsters on the outer sides of his thighs. The head sculpt, judging from the official images, is truly impressive! It not only perfectly recreates his slightly curly short hair and charming beard but also meticulously sculpts his facial contours and depicts his gaze with great detail. Coupled with the movable eyeballs and a subtle smile, it truly allows for some excellent posing.
Accessories include two signature blasters, a pair of attachable effect parts for the blasters, a music player with headphones, multiple interchangeable hands, and a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3-themed display base. Next, I believe it will be Nebula's turn to make an appearance, right?
