Megahouse, a Japanese toy company, has released the 'G.E.M.' series, which brings numerous popular Japanese anime and manga characters to life as figures. Today, they unveiled the first colored prototype of their latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED', the "Lacus Clyne 20th anniversary," with an expected release in late November 2023.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED' broadcast, this product once again brings the highly popular heroine, Lacus Clyne, to life as a figure. It captures her iconic appearance from the early story arc as the P.L.A.N.T. songstress, dressed in an elegant gown, combined with a dynamic pose gently cradling a "Haro" in one hand, showcasing Lacus's memorable silhouette and her signature gentle smile.
The sculpt meticulously details the elaborate ruffled designs on the cuffs, waist, and hem of this outfit. Her long pink hair and the purple fabric on her cuffs are all crafted using clear parts, conveying a highly translucent and delicate texture. The Haro in her hand, gifted by Athrun, can be displayed in Lacus's favorite pink, or swapped with interchangeable parts to become a black Haro.
