Japanese toy manufacturer TOYS CABIN has partnered with another gashapon toy brand, F-Toys, to release gashapon toys featuring aircraft in the style of renowned Japanese designer "TAKORASU"! Scheduled for release in September 2023.
Many might not be familiar with the name TAKORASU. He is a graphic designer who has won numerous awards. Among his many works, he has a particular fondness for mechanical subjects like aircraft, which also incorporate elements of steampunk, biomechanical creatures, and a touch of Ghibli-esque fantasy. He skillfully blends these elements to create his own unique imaginary world, earning him widespread admiration and affection.
This TAKORASU COLLECTION gashapon toy, jointly released by TOYS CABIN and F-Toys, is a mini flying device with a mechanical and biomechanical creature aesthetic. Approximately 10 cm wide, turning the bottom axle by hand activates the internal mechanism, allowing the wings on both sides to flap up and down, resembling a flying animal. It looks quite fascinating. In addition to its intricate structure, it also comes in four different colors.
