MEGAHOUSE, a Japanese model manufacturer, today unveiled the developing prototypes for four new figures from their new mid-to-low-priced small-scale monster figure series, 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE'. These figures, based on the popular card battle game 'Yu-Gi-Oh!', include 'Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon', 'Dark Necrofear', 'Dark Paladin', and 'Borreload Dragon'. Release dates are yet to be determined.

The 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE' series is a new line of completed monster figures priced under 10,000 Japanese Yen. The scale is significantly smaller compared to the higher-end 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' series, with each product standing approximately within 15 cm in height. They also feature dynamic poses and bases that highlight the monsters' charm, making them relatively suitable for collectors with limited display space or lower budgets. However, the overall richness of detail and sharpness are noticeably inferior to the ART WORKS MONSTERS series.
Currently, the four new figures—'Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon', 'Dark Necrofear', 'Dark Paladin', and 'Borreload Dragon'—are only displayed as unpainted prototypes. Their designs faithfully recreate the monsters' appearances based on their card illustrations. In addition to the main figures, diorama bases and effect parts are also produced to replicate the backgrounds from the illustrations. Among these, 'Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon', 'Dark Necrofear', and 'Dark Paladin' are part of the series' third wave and will be announced and released simultaneously at a later date.
