After announcing that several characters from Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku would be released under its "ARTFX J" series, Japanese toy company KOTOBUKIYA recently officially unveiled its first new product: the "Gabimaru" (がびまる) 1/8 scale PVC pre-painted complete figure! It is scheduled for release in January 2024.
The "ARTFX J Gabimaru," sculpted in the pose of performing his signature ninjutsu "Kaho-shi," stands approximately 13.8 cm tall. Not only is Gabimaru's Iwagakure ninja attire meticulously sculpted, but details such as the wrinkles created by his movement, the frayed ends, and his straw sandals are all exquisitely rendered. His low-crouching stance, with his center of gravity pressed down, fully demonstrates his agile movements. His white short hair and calm expression, even when facing an unknown enemy, are well-executed. While the flames covering his entire body might not appear intensely burning, the coloring is exceptionally beautiful, with a fantastic gradient from orange to pink and a semi-transparent visual effect!
▼ Purchases made at the KOTOBUKIYA SHOP will also include a bonus head sculpt part with his mask pulled up, adding further variation to Gabimaru's cool battle pose!
