Japanese toy company Kotobukiya unveiled several new prototypes at the grand event "Anime Expo 2023," currently being held in Los Angeles, USA. This article will feature the first-ever prototype from "My Hero Academia," the "Izuku Midoriya Dark Deku Ver." (tentative translation)!
The "Dark Deku," slated for official commercialization in the ARTFX J series, is expected to be the series' consistent 1/8 scale. It faithfully recreates Midoriya's solitary, sleepless battle stance from the anime, exuding an intense sense of oppression. Although it is currently an unpainted gray prototype under supervision, the detailed sculpting alone conveys immense power and makes one incredibly excited! The fierce sharpness after donning the mask, the battle-worn combat suit, the realistically dynamic cape, as well as the lightning-like effect parts wrapped around his body, and the massive effect part used as a base are all super cool! We can't wait to see the colored physical product.
