Gundam's official fashion brand "STRICT-G" has partnered with Japan's SWANS Optics to release the "Sunglasses Quattro Bajeena Specification V2", inspired by Char Aznable's alias in "Mobile Suit Z Gundam". Available in two styles, with a reference price of 17,050 JPY each, scheduled for release in July 2023!
Char Aznable, whose real name is Casval Rem Deikun, adopted the identity of the missing person "Quattro Bajeena" in "Mobile Suit Z Gundam", seven years after the One Year War. He joined the Anti-Earth Union Group (A.E.U.G.) to fight against the Titans, who were brutally suppressing space residents.
The "STRICT-G x SWANS Sunglasses Quattro Bajeena Specification V2" are sports sunglasses designed with Quattro Bajeena as inspiration. The lenses effectively block UV penetration, strong outdoor sunlight, and glare. The nose pads are adjustable to prevent eyelash interference. The anti-reflective coating comes in two types: silver lens × smoke gray and gold lens × smoke gray. The SWANS logo is laser-engraved on the left corner of the lens, and the sunglasses case features the words QUATTRO VAGEENA, symbolizing Char.
