Japanese toy company Megahouse's high-quality figure line, Precious G.E.M., will release its latest work based on the "Digimon World" series: the "Machinedramon" PVC pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 39,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2024!
Machinedramon (also known as MugenDramon) is the first Digimon to be officially designated as "the strongest." It first appeared as the final BOSS in the game "Digimon World" and played the role of one of the "Dark Masters" in the anime "Digimon Adventure." It possesses a unique composite beast design, with its body constructed from parts of numerous modified Digimon, granting it power that overwhelms other Digimon! However, it lacks self-awareness and emotions, and after being implanted with a malicious program, it embarks on endless destruction.
The "Precious G.E.M. Machinedramon" PVC pre-painted figure was created in collaboration with Digimon designer Kenji Watanabe-sensei and Bandai Namco Games producer Kazumasa Hanyu-sensei, resulting in an impressive 40 cm long Machinedramon! It faithfully recreates Machinedramon's full-metal armored appearance, its Mugen Cannon, massive claws, and other composite features, without overlooking the skull emblem design on its left shoulder. Detailed metallic piping and layered paintwork further enhance its powerful presence, fully expressing the character's personality. The dynamic forward-leaning pose is incredibly vivid, and the Mugen Cannon, with its simple articulated joints, recreates its powerful roaring stance!
