The popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has announced the latest product from the 2023 Super Sentai series tokusatsu new work 'Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger', 'Ohkuwagata Ohger', scheduled for release in February 2024.
When protagonist Gira/Kuwagata Ohger was young, Racles Hastie was a gentle person who aspired to be a wise king. However, when he ascended the throne to rule Shugoddam, he inexplicably became a tyrant who treated his people as tools and sought to conquer the world. He can use the Ohger Calibur ZERO to transform into Ohkuwagata Ohger, and even control the artificial guardian deity 'King-Ohger ZERO'.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Ohkuwagata Ohger' is a modification of the previously released Kuwagata Ohger. The overall color scheme has been changed to a silver-gray paint application to reproduce a different texture. The stag beetle mask on the head and the armored style exterior both feature cool designs, and the Shugoddam national emblem on the right chest is perfectly reproduced. The left shoulder cape is made of a soft material to reduce interference with articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses in conjunction with the figure's flexible joint design.
Accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hands, the golden sword 'Ohger Calibur ZERO' which features a different hilt design reproduced with some new parts and coloring, and the 'King's Transformation Shield' which was not included with Kuwagata Ohger. In addition to featuring multiple metallic colors and intricate detailed sculpting, it can also combine with the Ohger Calibur and Ohger Calibur ZERO to form a naginata mode!
