BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product in its 'Yudo' series, based on the special effects TV series "Super Sentai". The new product, "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger Yudo 02", from "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger", is scheduled for release in November 2023.
"Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" is set in a completely fictional fantasy world. A thousand years ago, six heroes fought alongside the guardian deity King-Ohger, defeating the evil empire "Underground Empire Bugnarok" and protecting humanity. They each established five distinct nations across the continent, enjoying a long period of peace. However, 2000 years later, the Bugnarok have resurrected as prophesied and once again invade the human world. The current kings of each nation once again fight alongside their insectoid mechanical guardian deities.
Following the five kings released in the first wave, the Yudo series now launches its second wave as the story enters its second arc. This lineup includes four characters: "King Kuwagata Ohger", the enhanced form of Kuwagata Ohger achieved using the King's Crown Lance; "King Ohkuwagata Ohger", the enhanced form of Racules, the former king of Shugoddam; "Spider Kumonos", the transformation of Jeramie, the new king who governs Bugnarok; and the returning senior hero "King Kyoryu Red", who makes a special comeback to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger".
