The plastic model kit series "MODEROID", launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE, today announced the latest product from the novel "Knight's & Magic," the "Type-3 Equipment," which is scheduled for release in May 2024.
The Type-3 Equipment is a chariot equipment utilized by the Fremmevilla Kingdom's centaur-type Silhouette Knight Zedorimbur. Its massive size requires two Zedorimburs to be connected for movement, and the center can accommodate a standard-sized Silhouette Knight like Toy Box.
The "MODEROID Type-3 Equipment" is the largest product in the series to date, with the main body measuring approximately 35
cm in length. When the Beast-Slaying Sword is deployed, it spans approximately 70 cm in width. It can also connect with two Zedorimburs to form a powerful chariot mode measuring 50 cm in length. The kit consists of multi-color molded parts, some pre-painted parts, and waterslide decals for markings. Each weapon features deployment mechanisms, just like in the series, and allows the separately sold "Toy Box" to ride in the center and use its weapons.
The two "Blazing Lances" on the top can recreate their heat dissipation state after magic attacks by swapping parts. When detached, they can also be fitted with grip parts to become handheld weapons for Toy Box.
