To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of "Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger," the 37th installment in Toei's Tokusatsu series "Super Sentai," Bandai Spirits today announced the latest DX toy commemorative product, "DX Kyoryujin DARK FULLACTION VER," slated for release in March 2024.
The giant robot Kyoryujin, utilized by Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, is a Zyuden Giant formed by the combination of three Zyudenryu: Gabutyra, Stegotchi, and Dricera. It can attack using the shield equipped on its right arm and the drill mounted on its left arm, while Gabutyra's head on its shoulder can gather energy to unleash a finishing move. Recently, Kyoryujin also reappeared in a collaborative episode with the latest series, "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger," where Gabutyra became King-Ohger's newest ally, capable of combining with the other four Shugods (excluding the incapacitated God Kuwagata) to form "King Kyoryujin," and even recreating its signature samba dance.
The "DX Kyoryujin DARK FULLACTION VER" is produced using the same mold as the previously announced standard "DX Kyoryujin FULLACTION VER," but its overall color scheme has been replaced with a black and gold palette, corresponding to the "King-Ohger ZERO" series machines. The product includes three Zyudenryu: Dark Gabutyra, Dark Stegotchi, and Dark Dricera. Re-engineered with the latest technology, its articulation range has been significantly enhanced. After combining into Dark Kyoryujin, the entire body boasts over 15 points of articulation, allowing for dynamic and cool battle poses.
Notably, Dark Gabutyra can link with the separately sold "DX King-Ohger ZERO" to combine with the other four Shugods (God Mantis, God Dragonfly, God Hachi, and God Papillon), replacing God Kuwagata, to form the toy-original Dark "King Kyoryujin"!
