Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE," based on the popular series "HUNTER x HUNTER," is releasing its latest product, the "POP UP PARADE Meruem" PVC figure! Priced at 4,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in May 2024!
A pivotal character from the "Hunter x Hunter Chimera Ant Arc" - the Chimera Ant King, Meruem (メルエム) - is the strongest Chimera Ant King in history. Even while in the Queen's womb, he began absorbing the flesh and blood of Nen users and devouring their Nen, enhancing his own Nen abilities while also acquiring the Nen skills of those he absorbed. His personality is childish, brutal, and cold-blooded, believing violence to be the ultimate power. However, after encountering Komugi, a master of Gungi, the King, repeatedly defeated, began to ponder the meaning of life and developed unique emotions.
The "POP UP PARADE Meruem" PVC figure stands approximately 17 cm tall. It faithfully recreates the crown-like shape on the Chimera Ant King's head and his powerful, giant stinger tail. The physique also features robust muscle lines and a striking lower body..., with pearlescent and glossy paintwork emphasizing the textural differences across various parts of his body. His blood-red eyes gaze deeply forward, creating an aura of the King's dominance and coolness!
