Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY today announced the latest product from the popular manga "Bocchi the Rock!", the "Ryo Yamada 1/7 Scale Figure", scheduled for release in December 2024.
Ryo Yamada, the bassist of "Kessoku Band", is a mysterious, literary, androgynous girl who often wears vintage clothing, possessing extensive musical knowledge and performance skills. While her appearance is popular among other girls, internally she is an eccentric individual who acts on her own terms, regardless of the situation. Despite coming from a relatively wealthy family, she spends her allowance uncontrollably on musical instruments, leading her to accumulate debts and even resort to eating grass to survive, not even sparing the poor Bocchi.
The "Ryo Yamada 1/7 Scale Figure" three-dimensionalizes her appearance in her Shimokitazawa High School uniform, carrying a bass bag, at a height of approximately 25 cm. The dynamic styling of her chic short hair and hair accessory details are meticulously crafted, and combined with her serene face when silent, thoroughly showcases Ryo's androgynous beauty. Rich and realistic wrinkle details are sculpted on both her uniform and bass bag. The color application also expresses the gradient colors of her hair and skirt hem, as well as the glossy texture of the nylon fabric on the bass bag surface. The product packaging box includes a background illustration of a scene from the series, allowing for display even when stored.
