Japanese figure manufacturer Wonderful Works recently announced the latest product, the 'Mira 1/7 Scale Figure,' which sculpts popular illustrator toridamono's (トリダモノ) summer greeting illustration into a three-dimensional form, scheduled for release in December 2024.
The 'big sister' character "Mira," with her voluptuous figure and pure white bikini swimsuit, originates from a summer greeting illustration published several years ago by popular illustrator toridamono, renowned for character designs in the "Atelier Ryza" series. Although the character itself lacked detailed settings, and even her name was only decided a month before pre-orders opened, her character design garnered significant attention upon its reveal due to her lively physique, characteristic of toridamono's style.
The 'Mira 1/7 Scale Figure' was personally supervised by toridamono himself. It meticulously sculpts toridamono's signature voluptuous figure, with the entire skin surface painted to achieve a delicate, fair complexion with a hint of blush, showcasing ample fleshiness in areas such as the chest, thighs, and buttocks. The hair, scarf, and sunglass lenses are crafted from clear parts. The belt, metal buckle, and water bottle are also given realistic color applications to differentiate their textures. The base features a richly detailed suitcase, along with a realistic beach scene, evoking a full summer ambiance.
