MEDICOM TOY, a renowned Japanese toy company, recently announced a new product in its 6-inch action figure series "MAFEX": "Black Panther Ver.1.5", based on MARVEL's "Infinity Saga"! It is scheduled for release in November 2024.
The eternal King of Wakanda, returning in this "Ver.1.5" updated version, stands approximately 16 cm tall. Compared to the previous "Black Panther" from the "Infinity War" version, the biggest difference lies in the newly sculpted head, completed with new digital printing technology. Regarding the depiction of the unmasked head sculpt's expression, I personally felt the previous work was quite good. From the official images, the most significant difference appears to be the adjustment of the skin tone. The other two masked head sculpts seem to have similar detailing. Furthermore, the highlight of Ver.1.5 is definitely the throne, which further enhances Black Panther's presence! Sitting upon it, he appears even more noble and extraordinary! It also offers excellent playability when paired with other toys.
Other accessories include one long and one short Wakandan spear, multiple interchangeable hands, and a movable stand. The inclusion of the highly detailed throne truly makes this a must-buy!
