The Danish LEGO toy company officially announced yesterday (4th) the latest product in its "Ideas" series, the "Family Tree"! It is scheduled for release on February 1, 2024.

The original concept for this Family Tree comes from LEGO fan Ivan Guerrero (Bulldoozer). His work, "YOUR FAMILY TREE," stood out in the "What does Family mean to you?" event co-hosted by LEGO and American retail group TARGET, and was subsequently officially commercialized by LEGO! This set has a total of 1040 pieces. LEGO officially made almost no changes to Ivan Guerrero's core design, only optimizing the overall appearance and the function of hanging photos, and adding a storage function. After assembly, it will stand 29 cm tall, making it quite a substantial model.

The biggest difference between the official product and Ivan Guerrero's version is the removal of minifigures. The family of four in the original concept was replaced with a variety of rich parts, including rackets, snacks, picnic baskets, flowers, toy airplanes, pumpkins, magnifying glasses... and other items that various family members might use. These small parts can be stored in the base by opening the Family Tree. The highlight this time is the 16 small hooks that can hold photos and tickets. Toy enthusiasts can freely choose which memories to adorn the Family Tree with!
