Japan's Megahouse toy company's Q-version character figure series "LOOKUP (るかっぷ)" will launch its latest product, "LOOKUP Frieren," based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End"! Pre-orders are expected to open on January 11, 2024.
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)," originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of Frieren, an elven mage, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for thousands of years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The "LOOKUP Frieren" figure combines the series' signature Q-version sitting pose and a delicate, adorable palm-sized form (approximately 11 cm tall). It also features an adjustable neck joint, allowing her sparkling eyes to gaze upwards, which is incredibly heartwarming~ Frieren's distinctive silver-white hair, long elven ears, and subtle expression make her an exciting piece to hold in your hands!
