Furyu (フリュー株式会社), a renowned prize toy manufacturer, under its high-quality toy brand "F:NEX," is releasing a "Sakura Kinomoto" 1/7 scale figure to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the popular anime series "Cardcaptor Sakura"! The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025!
The popular protagonist of "Cardcaptor Sakura," Sakura Kinomoto, is a lively, kind, innocent, and empathetic adorable girl. Her slightly air-headed yet straightforward personality allows her to push forward with the invincible mantra of "Absolutely no problem!" After accidentally releasing the sealed "Clow Cards," she not only successfully re-sealed them but also used her own power to transform the Clow Cards into her own "Sakura Cards." One of Sakura's most well-known characteristics is her ever-changing wardrobe; almost every appearance features a new outfit made for her by her friend Tomoyo, which is one reason for her high popularity.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the "Cardcaptor Sakura" anime, F:NEX is bringing the commemorative visual illustration to life as a "Sakura Kinomoto" 1/7 scale figure, recreating Sakura's classic look from the "Clow Card Arc" anime visual, complete with her uniform and rollerblades, and fully reproducing her dynamic leaping pose in mid-air! Highlighting Sakura's features are her super adorable smile and sparkling eyes, with the overall color palette based on the anime's colors. Her skirt flutters with the movement, her ahoge (cowlick) bounces, and behind her, Kero is vividly rescuing textbooks almost spilling out of her school bag. The design is both exquisite and charming! The base features a cherry blossom and blue sky design, creating the effect of cherry blossoms dancing gracefully upon it.
