Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO's first soft vinyl figure for 2024 from MARVEL comics, "Juggernaut," which had already sparked strong interest among hero fans when it was first revealed, was officially announced in the early hours of today (16th)! Timed pre-orders will be available on the MONDO official website from January 16, 2024, 12:00 PM (CT) to January 19, 2024, 11:59 AM (CT), with an estimated shipping start in July of the same year.
Juggernaut's real name is "Cain Marko," first appearing in the comic book "Uncanny X-Men" #12. He is Professor X - Charles's half-brother. He transformed into Juggernaut after touching the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, gaining inexhaustible and astonishing power through Cyttorak's magic. He possesses an indestructible, rampaging physique and destructive power comparable to the Hulk; even Wolverine's adamantium claws struggle to harm his body. Furthermore, Juggernaut's boundless energy allows him to sustain life without food or water, making him a formidable character with exceptional strength and durability!
This soft vinyl figure, which fully highlights Juggernaut's imposing physique, stands approximately 30 cm tall and boasts a width of 38 cm. The overall design was handled by Tommy Hodges. Not only does it reinterpret Juggernaut with a low-head-to-body ratio, but his thick arms extending past his knees and fists larger than his helmet are incredibly exaggerated! Additionally, the depiction of muscle shapes and the three-dimensional feel of the lines achieved through shadow painting are excellent. According to the official website, this piece features articulated joints in the arms, fists, and boots, allowing for fierce yet somewhat endearing poses.
