Chinese manufacturer MAGI ARTS recently unveiled a new product to be sold at Japan's largest model exhibition, "Wonder Festival 2024 [Winter]," held on February 11, 2024. It is a 1/6 scale GK model of "Guts [Berserker Armor]" (ガッツ［狂戦士の甲冑］) from "Berserk"!
In the latter part of "Berserk" Volume 26, Guts was completely at a disadvantage against Grunberd, known as the "Flame Dragon." Besides the opponent's formidable strength, the Flame Dragon's claim to be a "warrior of the Band of the Hawk" also vexed Guts. However, after donning the cursed artifact "Berserker Armor" forged by dwarves, the greatly amplified rage, resentment, and hatred completely numbed Guts' pain. In its place was a violent, intense impulse, allowing Guts to fight madly with strength that surpassed human limits, not only easily knocking away the Flame Dragon but also instantly shattering its shield, which even cannonballs couldn't penetrate.
This time, MAGI ARTS' "Guts [Berserker Armor]" unpainted GK model, created under the one-day license system, is made in 1/6 scale. It sculpts Guts' rampant form after donning the armor and being consumed by rage. Not only does it shape incredibly sharp armor lines, but it also features extensive brushstroke detailing, greatly enhancing the overall power and sense of speed. The strongly flowing cape, as if alive, is a major highlight of the piece – super cool! Coupled with the Dragonslayer sword carried on his shoulder, it truly exudes an overwhelming presence!
