The Danish LEGO Group announced last night (16th) the latest product in its "LEGO Ideas" series: "21347 Red London Telephone Box"! It is scheduled for release on February 4, 2024.

The original design for this set comes from British LEGO fan John Cramp, who submitted it to LEGO IDEAS under the name Bricked1980 and successfully passed official review and was officially commercialized after gaining 10,000 votes of support. This "Red London Telephone Box" is a scene set with 1460 pieces, measuring approximately 19.5 cm in length and 31 cm in height when assembled. In addition to faithfully recreating the exterior of the K2 red telephone box, the "TELEPHONE" lettering, and the crown emblem print, the interior details are not to be underestimated! It includes two styles: a vintage rotary dial telephone and an 1980s-style telephone, and a light brick is also installed at the top.

A comparison of the two interior designs! Here we can find many small LEGO Easter eggs, including LEGO studs in the middle of the landmark patterns, and the typewriter and double-decker bus designs on the stickers, which are all previously released products, among others. However, the editor personally thinks the coolest and most interesting part is the meaning behind the telephone numbers! The emergency service numbers (10) 278 and (10) 197 in the image below are, respectively, the set numbers for the Street View Series Police Station and Fire Station.

In addition to the telephone box, the cobblestone street-themed diorama base is also very detailed, with beautiful streetlights, flower baskets, flower pots, and fences. Furthermore, the fence next to the vintage telephone box can be used as a phone stand to display a mobile phone, creating a striking contrast.
