Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. will release a highly anticipated new product themed after Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition: the "Progressive Knife PKN-01C," commercialized for the first time with LED light and sound effects! The suggested retail price is 13,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2024!
The "Progressive Knife PKN-01C" has been three-dimensionally realized at a size of approximately 34 cm! Its main body design completely references the in-show settings, perfectly recreating the Progressive Knife's appearance from the theatrical films and its foldable transformation design! The blade features LED light effects, which not only display the white glow seen in the anime but also include vibration sound effects to enhance the immersive experience. Furthermore, the knife stand is inspired by the red core sphere of an Angel, allowing the knife to be inserted into it, with cracked detailing around it, making for a truly impressive display! It also includes over 25 voice lines from Shinji (cv. Megumi Ogata) and Misato (cv. Kotono Mitsuishi), including memorable classic lines such as "I mustn't run away, I mustn't run away, I mustn't run away" and "All hands! First battle station!" Plus, the battle BGM "DECISIVE BATTLE" is included, making playtime even more exciting!
