American collectible brand Sideshow Collectibles, in collaboration with various artists and designers, recently unveiled a new product from its "Designer Collectible Statue" series, featuring the sci-fi epic "Star Wars": "Ewok by Mab Graves"! Shipping is expected to begin from July to October 2024.
First appearing in "Return of the Jedi," the "Ewoks," who reside on the forest moon of Endor, are adorable, bear-like creatures. Among them, the scout "Wicket" is particularly memorable. After discovering the unconscious Princess Leia and poking her awake with a spear, he not only shared food with her and was startled by Leia's helmet, but also worked together to repel Imperial scout troopers. The Ewoks' unique language and their head-wobbling antics are quite endearing, and their scenes fighting alongside the Rebel Alliance in the film are all incredibly cute.
This Ewok statue, crafted based on Mab Graves' artwork, stands approximately 18 cm tall. It not only perfectly recreates an Ewok holding a baby, but also wonderfully captures the dreamy color palette used by Mab Graves. Coupled with the finely sculpted skin texture and bright, sparkling eyes, you'll be completely captivated! Through exquisite painting techniques, the fur, nose, claws, and other parts are rendered with distinct textures, while the fabric-stitched clothing adds even more realism! It's simply too adorable to take out for photoshoots!
