FuRyu, a popular Japanese company, is set to release "Laios" and "Marcille" Noodle Stopper Figures (ぬーどるストッパーフィギュア) as part of their popular prize figure series, based on the hit anime "Dungeon Meshi". These will be available as prize items, with an anticipated release in January 2024.
Japanese manga artist Ryoko Kui's manga series "Dungeon Meshi" centers around the theme of "adventures in a dungeon labyrinth while savoring gourmet meals." The protagonist, Laios, after failing to defeat a Red Dragon and losing his entire party, decides to return to the dungeon with minimal resources to rescue his sister Farlyn, who was devoured by the dragon. To overcome the challenge of scarce supplies, he embarks on a dungeon adventure where monsters become his sustenance... utilizing modern cooking techniques and culinary knowledge to transform various fantastical creatures and monsters into delicious dishes.
The FuRyu "Laios" and "Marcille" Noodle Stopper Figures stand approximately 15 cm and 14 cm tall, respectively. Continuing the signature style of the Noodle Stopper series, they feature a seated pose designed to hold down instant noodle lids. The figures faithfully recreate Laios's silver armor and Marcille's half-elf characteristics based on the anime's designs. They are depicted savoring the monster delicacies held in their hands, their faces beaming with pure happiness from enjoying such delicious monster meals! Perhaps having them hold down your instant noodles will make them taste even better?
