Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) recently announced a new product currently under supervision, scheduled for release in May 2024: "Tsuburaya Productions Character Soft Vinyl Ball Chain Mascot" (tentative translation, 円谷プロ キャラクターズソフビ ボールチェーンマスコット)! The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per gashapon capsule (gashapon version) or 550 JPY per box (blind box version).

The characters this time are from the two TV series "Kaiju Booska (かいじゅうブースカ)" and "Chibira-kun (チビラくん)". There are Booska, Pink Booska, Booska's younger brother Chamegon, Chibira (チビラ), "Pochipochi" who has a zipper on his belly to hide things, and Chibira and Pochipochi's playmate "Gakinco"! The soft vinyl toys feature a strong Showa-era style, and the paint application is very detailed. What's super cool is that each figure comes with a mini version of the soft vinyl toy packaging, measuring approximately 12 cm from the header card to the bottom of the bag. The toy itself is estimated to be around 7-8 cm tall. For toy collectors who love vintage monster toys, this is undoubtedly a must-buy set.
