MAX FACTORY (Max Factory Co., Ltd.), a Japanese toy company, is set to release the latest product in its popular "figma" action figure series, "figma Gabimaru," based on the hit anime "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku"! The suggested retail price is 12,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in October 2024.
The manga series "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku" (地獄楽), created by Japanese manga artist Yuji Kaku, is set in the late Edo period. The story follows "Gabimaru," the strongest ninja from Iwagakure Village. After marrying his wife, he no longer wished to carry out assassination missions and desired to leave the village for a normal life. However, he was framed, arrested, and sentenced to death. To gain acquittal and reunite with his wife, Gabimaru accepted the terms offered by the executioner "Yamada Asaemon Sagiri," and journeyed with other death row inmates to a mysterious island known as the Pure Land of Paradise, in search of the elixir of immortality...
The "figma Gabimaru" action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating Gabimaru's short stature and white hair, among other features. The details of his ninja attire are also meticulously reproduced. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a cool, expressionless face; a gritting teeth combat face; and a face wearing his masked hood. Paired with interchangeable hand parts and effect parts for his "Ninjutsu: Kaho" (Fire Technique) and "Ninjutsu: Raireki Kaho-goshi" (Lightning Strike Fire Technique) moves, you can recreate thrilling battle scenes from the series!
