Japanese toy company RE-MENT, known for crafting exquisite accessories and miniature models, today (the 5th) announced several new products. This article will bring you information on the Pokémon-themed "Pokémon Diorama Collection: Ancient Castle Ruins" (tentative translation, ポケモンジオラマコレクション 古城の遺跡) blind box figures! Scheduled for release on May 20, 2024, the suggested retail price is 1,150 JPY per box.
This collection focuses on "ruined relics weathered by time" as its central theme, and the inclusion of Pokémon in these settings immediately reminded the editor of the ruins found at the foot of Mount Coronet in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Indeed, it feels like powerful Pokémon would appear in such places! The six different small diorama scenes in this collection can be combined to form a two-story ruin. However, there's also a degree of freedom to assemble and combine them as you wish. The clear pools, trees climbing the ruin pillars, and various collapsed beams and peeling walls all add significant charm to the overall display.
The Pokémon featured include "Pikachu & Golett," "Dratini & Xatu," "Aipom & Gimmighoul (Chest Form)," "Kirlia & Unown," "Riolu & Honedge," and "Lycanroc (Dusk Form)."
