World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys today (15th) announced its latest product from the PS5 video game "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" – the "Peter Parker (Superior Suit)" 1/6th scale collectible figure! It is expected to ship from Q4 2024 to Q1 2025, with a suggested retail price of HKD 1,790.
The design inspiration for this suit comes from the Superior Spider-Man in MARVEL comics. It features a striking red and black color scheme, and even the four metallic mechanical claws are painted in vibrant red. This Hot Toys three-dimensional rendition of the "Peter Parker" Superior Suit stands approximately 30 cm tall with 30 points of articulation. While faithfully recreating Peter's physique, it also utilizes elastic fiber fabric combined with drip molding and silk-screen printing techniques to meticulously reproduce this highly technological suit. The delicate and asymmetrical web patterns, the large and elongated spider emblem, the sharp double eye lenses, the pointed claws on the toes, and the embellishments on the forearms truly make it look cooler the more you look at it.
Accessories include 4 mechanical spider claws that can be freely attached to the back, 6 web-shoot effect accessories, multiple interchangeable hands in claw poses, additional eye parts, and a display base with a nameplate. Each mechanical spider claw features 5 points of articulation, allowing for free angle adjustment and dynamic posing with the included stand.
