[DAMANDO] A Toy That Will Make Your Wife Mad! METAL CORE Thunder Task Force Babella Red 1/9 Seamless Mecha Girl - Absolutely No Details!!

This is a release from DAMANDO's METAL CORE Thunder Task Force line, a 1/9 scale figure featuring a fully seamless body. The seamless material is a proprietary blend developed in-house, boasting five key features: no oil seepage, no cracking, no yellowing, non-sticky, and no need for talcum powder maintenance.

Despite these claims, there are always concerns with seamless figures about potential cracking or oil seepage from prolonged handling. However, for them to make such bold claims shows immense confidence in their product. Only time will tell.

I didn't pre-order the first release because it wasn't to my taste. For the second one, I fell in love with the giant axe and the expressive face, so I picked it up. I've also pre-ordered the upcoming third release from the Thunder Task Force, Vodka Mirror. I was primarily drawn to the design, plus the dual pistols. Besides that, it shows even more of the seamless body (less clothing), so I pre-ordered without hesitation.

The overall scale is 1/9, standing at about 22cm tall. It feels incredibly comfortable to handle. As for the "details," you might be disappointed.

Since this is a "proper" toy, no anatomical details were sculpted. I've removed everything that can be removed and checked everything that can be checked. The only fan service I can provide is taking photos from a God's-eye view.

The internal skeleton of the seamless body uses metal joints, giving it a particularly solid and tight feel when posing. The overall color scheme and facial expressions are very lively. The pre-order bonus also includes an extra head sculpt, hairstyle, and a set of blue effect parts for swapping.

What I love most is the display base that can store all the accessories (except for the hair parts). You can place all the small components inside the base for storage. This way, when you're posing the figure, you don't have to dig through the box for parts; just open the base, and everything is right there.

Even though it's a "proper" toy, if your wife is around while you're handling it, remember to be discreet, especially when rotating the hips or adjusting the chest pieces. The overall feel of that seamless material is just so... satisfying.

Here is a simple unboxing to share with everyone.

▼【Unboxing】METAL CORE Thunder Task Force Babella Red 1/9 Seamless Mecha Girl

▼The outer box uses transparent packaging, allowing you to see the contents clearly.

▼Besides the red hat, there are other styles available for swapping.

▼Since the packaging is transparent, the main body and some parts are visible from the front.

▼Close-up of the front of the outer box.

▼The overall scale is 1/9.

▼The back of the packaging is presented in red to match the name.

▼Unboxing

▼It uses a top and bottom clamshell design with layers.

▼The bottom layer contains the display base, twin blades, and a set of blue effect parts.

▼Additionally, it comes with a pack of red effect parts and an eyeball adjustment tool.

▼The first layer holds the main body, main weapon, interchangeable hands, face plates, and hair parts.

▼Close-up

▼Interchangeable hairstyle

▼Interchangeable face plate

▼The main body makes its debut.

▼The total height is about 22 cm.

▼To prevent paint scratches and piercing the seamless parts, protective foam has been placed on crucial areas, especially the all-important buttocks.

▼Swapping face plates is a bit troublesome; like assembling a mecha girl kit, you need to disassemble many parts to make the change.

▼The pin-like tool in the picture is for adjusting the eyeballs.

▼The eyeballs on all four face plates can be adjusted independently.

▼There is a small flat-head slot on the back of the eyeball.

▼Insert the pin to adjust. Being able to change the eye position makes posing especially satisfying. You can use the eye adjustment to create all sorts of cheeky expressions, making the entire face more dynamic. Even the tongue is a separate part.

▼The main body can do a full split with no problem.

▼Certain parts of the body can be detached individually.

▼The peg holes on the detached parts are 0.3mm, compatible with any 0.3mm kits and equipment sold on the market. I've checked for you guys—there are really no details. On another note, the tactile feel of the seamless material on the buttocks is excellent, and the curves of the hips have been treated with shadow painting.

▼My favorite feature, the display base. The base has five compartments that can be opened to store all the parts, completely emptying the box. The only things that can't be stored are the hair parts.

▼There are two larger compartments for storing bigger parts.

▼There are three weapons in total.

▼Twin blades, officially named: Searing Crimson Twin Blades.

▼The front of the giant axe is shaped like a hammer, but unfortunately, the mouth cannot be opened. The official name for the axe is: Blood Moon Battle Axe: Wolf's Howl. The transparent parts on the battle axe contain a luminous material that reveals a glittery sheen when exposed to strong light.

▼The axe and twin blades can be combined. The manufacturer has thought of everything; you don't have to worry about extra storage when displaying—just assemble them together. The combined weapon offers multiple play options and can even be turned into a scythe.

▼Grabbed a random mecha girl model kit for comparison. After this, I don't really feel like touching model kits anymore XD.

That's all for this sharing session, hope you all enjoyed it. The third release is already pre-ordered, and I'll do an unboxing for everyone when it arrives. As for the fourth release, not even a prototype has been shown yet, so I'll have to wait for more news before deciding whether to get it.

Overall, it's truly satisfying to handle. I've twisted and turned the seamless body several times and haven't seen any cracks or creases. My only complaint would be that the arm can't hold up the axe. The arm joint is not made of metal, and the axe is too heavy. When raised, it just droops down, so it has to be supported by the stand or through posing. It's really difficult to achieve a one-handed axe-slashing pose. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied.

▼Next up are some simple studio shots to share with everyone.
