Japanese figure manufacturer Claynel (クレーネル, formerly REVOLVE) has announced its latest product, the "Chisato Nishikigi Hawaii Ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure, from the highly popular anime Lycoris Recoil! The suggested retail price is 16,940 JPY, with an estimated release in December 2024.
The original Japanese TV anime Lycoris Recoil, produced by A-1 Pictures, tells a story set ten years after the "Radio Tower Incident," a terrorist attack on the Tokyo Radio Tower. Japan's public safety has long been ranked first in the world, but behind this facade, a secret organization called "DA" (Direct Attack) covertly employs a group of young female agents known as "Lycoris" to maintain superficial peace. These well-trained girls, disguised in school uniforms, operate within the city, handling and concealing crimes. Chisato Nishikigi, known as the "strongest Lycoris of all time," is an agent who adheres to a philosophy of peace and non-lethality. She usually works as a waitress at the Japanese-style cafe LycoReco in the Tokyo suburbs, possessing an extremely optimistic and lively personality, always wearing a smile.
This "Chisato Nishikigi Hawaii Ver." 1/7 scale figure from Claynel is inspired by the scene where Chisato and Takina go to Hawaii for their honeymoon (X). Standing approximately 24 cm tall, it captures Chisato in Hawaiian-style attire, lifting her skirt and displaying a radiant, sun-like smile. Her lively expression and dancing pose convey the joy of fully enjoying Hawaii! The vibrant red ruffles perfectly suit Chisato's energetic and lively image. Details such as the Hawaiian lei and hair ornaments are meticulously reproduced; the base is inspired by Hawaii's calm and expansive beaches, evoking the sounds of waves and sea breeze.
