GASHAPON, Bandai's capsule toy brand in Japan, is launching a new addition to its "Creature Encyclopedia Repti" series: the "Creature Encyclopedia Repti BEST Iguana and Crested Gecko" gashapon! There are five types available, with a reference price of 500 JPY per capsule, slated for release in late May 2024.
The "Crested Gecko," which previously appeared in the premium "Creature Encyclopedia Ultimate" series, is now being re-released in a standard version. This lineup includes the Crested Gecko Dalmatian Orange and Crested Gecko Axanthic, featuring a simpler design, a total length of approximately 100mm, and 8 points of articulation. Additionally, brand new iguanas are making their debut, faithfully recreating their powerful jaws, sharp claws, and keen eyes, available in three color variations: green, red, and blue!
