Chinese toy manufacturer Rocket Toys (ROC), officially licensed by Pierrot China, is set to release its latest product, the "Sasori" 1/6 scale articulated figure, based on "Naruto Shippuden," with an anticipated release in 2024!
The legendary puppet master and sculptor of the Hidden Sand Village, Sasori, partnered with Orochimaru and Deidara after joining the Akatsuki. Sasori initially appeared in the form of "Hiruko," a powerful puppet designed to overcome the weakness of "puppet masters being poor at close combat." However, during his battle with Granny Chiyo and Sakura, Hiruko was destroyed, revealing Sasori's true body, which had been transformed into a human puppet, showing no signs of aging. Sasori could not only make human puppets perform their original ninjutsu (such as manipulating the Third Kazekage to use his unique "Iron Sand" jutsu) but also possessed the ultimate secret technique, "Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets," capable of conquering an entire nation.
The Rocket Toys "Sasori" 1/6 scale articulated figure stands approximately 27 cm tall. It is currently the only figure on the market featuring a dedicated articulated body custom-made for Sasori, meticulously recreating his in-story appearance! This release also includes the Third Kazekage Puppet, which likewise features a dedicated articulated body, with openable fingers, mouth, and left chest, allowing for extensive play and interaction. Sasori comes with a smiling expression, a replaceable everyday expression, and articulated eyes. His Akatsuki robe is made of fabric for realistic detail, with built-in magnets allowing the lapels to open and close naturally. Accessories also include shoes and clothing.
The rich array of accessories includes Sasori's heart, a back scroll rack (with removable scrolls), four scrolls, eight back blades, a replaceable abdominal rope-style cover plate, an extendable abdominal rope (nylon material with embedded metal wire for posing), hand cannon flame effect parts, 10 chakra threads (with embedded metal wire), the Third Kazekage Puppet's blade weapon, and more, allowing for dynamic display of various combat poses! The bonus item is a puppet's blank expression with wooden texture and flowing hair.
