Japanese company SQUARE ENIX recently announced the latest product from the "BRING ARTS" 6-inch action figure series, "Yuffie Kisaragi" from "FINAL FANTASY VII", scheduled for release on October 26, 2024.
The lively and adorable ninja girl, Yuffie Kisaragi, hails from Wutai, a nation hostile to the Shinra Company. While her words and actions can be childish, her exceptional ninjutsu is surprisingly reliable. In the original "FF7", Yuffie traveled far and wide stealing Materia to restore her homeland, which had been trampled by Shinra. Even Cloud and his companions' Materia were not spared. After a series of side quests, players had the chance to persuade Yuffie to join their party, though many players also completely missed her during their playthroughs. Years later, in the "FF7" Remake, Yuffie's backstory was significantly revised, allowing players to appreciate her character charm even more, and this time, she is guaranteed to become a playable companion.
The "BRING ARTS Yuffie Kisaragi" figure is based on the design drawn by Tetsuya Nomura at the time of the 1997 PlayStation release. With an articulated specification of approximately 13 cm in height, it thoroughly reproduces the character's design from that era. Meticulously crafted are her asymmetrical, agile ninja tools, left arm guard, the popular "bubble socks" of that era, and her characteristic large shuriken weapon. The entire body features 27 points of articulation and includes three pairs of interchangeable hands with different poses, and two facial expression parts, allowing for the recreation of classic in-game poses.
