Bandai Japan's GASHAPON capsule toy brand introduces its new artist collaboration series, "Art in Gashapon," partnering with frog sculptor Kazutaso Company to launch the "Art in Gashapon Frog Fujin and Raijin Statues" Gashapon. There are a total of four types, with a reference price of 500 JPY per capsule. It is currently available for order on PREMIUM BANDAI "GASHAPON ONLINE" and is scheduled for release in late June 2024.
The "Art in Gashapon Frog Fujin and Raijin Statues" Gashapon brings to life the "Frog x Buddha Statue (カエル×仏像)" series by herpetology research doctor Kazutaso Company, in an 8 cm Gashapon size! Combining with the Japanese national treasure painting "Fujin Raijin-zu Byobu" (Wind God and Thunder God Screens), these figures transform into frog-shaped Wind and Thunder Gods. The delicate sculpting captures details such as the rough bumps on the frog's skin and its piercing, expressive eyes. Furthermore, there are two color variations with different textured finishes: wood statue and bronze statue, creating an extraordinary sense of dignity and charm!
