The assembly model candy toy "MINIPLA" series, released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan business division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product, "Shugod Gattai Series PB God King-Ohger God Clear Plated ver.", scheduled for release in December 2024, to commemorate the broadcast of the final episode of "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger". This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
This set includes a total of 20 Shugods released in the "MINIPLA" series to date. It boasts a substantial number of parts, excellent articulation, and color separation design, along with a rich array of transforming and combining mechanisms. The 20 Shugods also feature outstanding sculpts when displayed individually. Among them, the two forms of Tarantula Knight and the three forms of King Caucasus Kabuto can be recreated. With King-Ohger, formed by the initial 10 machines, as the core, it can gradually combine into Legend King-Ohger, Ultimate King-Ohger, and finally the 20-machine grand combination, God King-Ohger!
The biggest difference from previous products is that all parts have been replaced with luxurious special color schemes. Not only are glitter-infused clear colors and pearl-colored molded parts extensively used, but the three legendary Shugods with black and gold coloring and King Caucasus Kabuto also utilize gold plated parts to recreate their cool armor. The face parts for each robot form have been upgraded to pre-painted versions, and the special glossy texture evokes the super-sized appearance of "Super Absolute Ultimate Complete King-Ohger" from the final episode!
