Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "METAL ROBOT Damashii" series, which combines metallic paint finishes and alloy frames, today once again announced that two new mobile suits from the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" are currently in development, following the previously announced "Destiny Gundam Spec II" and "Force Impulse Gundam Spec II."
From the mobile suit silhouettes in the teaser image, it can be seen that these two products currently in development are "ZGMF-X191M2 Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II" and "ZGMF/A-262B Strike Freedom Gundam Type-II." In the film, these two mobile suits were handed over to Morgenroete after the war and improved using the latest technology. The cockpits are equipped with a wider-view all-around monitor, and some armor designs and armament designs have also been changed. For example, the Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II is equipped with a new propulsion backpack and a beam saber on its head, while the Strike Freedom Gundam Type-II has a "Convergent Heavy-Nucleus Beam Cannon" hidden in its forehead, powerful enough to destroy an asteroid with a single shot.
Currently, no other information has been released for these two new products. Detailed product information is expected to be announced at a later date.
