American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys' "DC Direct" "Batman Black & White" 1/10 scale full-body statue series has officially unveiled its latest product, "Batman by Bill Sienkiewicz"! Shipping is expected to begin in September 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$124.99.
This Batman statue, crafted in the artistic style of American comic artist Bill Sienkiewicz, draws its overall design from the cover of Batman #400, published in 1986. This 1/10 scale statue stands approximately 20 cm tall, perfectly recreating the lean, angular physique of Batman as depicted by Bill Sienkiewicz. It also emphasizes the skull elements and pillars from the original artwork. It would be even more perfect if the white smoke could be rendered with clear parts! The straight, flat shoulder contours, the Bat-symbol on the chest, and the flowing shape of the cape's hem are all incredibly captivating! Fans of Bill Sienkiewicz's artwork should definitely add this piece to their collection!
