Japan's high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Throne Legacy" product line recently announced its latest product from DC Batman comics: the "Poison Ivy Concept Design by Carlos D'Anda" 1/4 scale diorama statue! Both a Regular Version and a DX Bonus Version will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date from May to August 2025, and suggested retail prices of ¥195,250 and ¥228,250 JPY respectively (all prices include tax).
"To transform Earth into a paradise for plants, a world no one can resist, and Poison Ivy is the queen of this world." One of DC's classic villains, Poison Ivy, strongly conveys this concept of plant supremacy in Carlos D'Anda's design. This piece stands approximately 55 cm tall, featuring Poison Ivy in an elegant reclining pose amidst a lush, verdant throne composed of trees, vines, boulders, green leaves, and carnivorous plants. The overall detail is exceptional. The leaves forming Poison Ivy's attire are treated with a glossy finish, creating a visual contrast with the surrounding elements. The vibrant, gaping-mouthed plants within the throne, juxtaposed with scattered bones and discarded, rusted pipes, create a striking contrast, fully embodying Poison Ivy's wild vision.
The DX Version will include two additional head sculpts: a smiling expression and a provocative, pouting expression that truly captures the essence of Carlos D'Anda's artwork! Other accessories include a pair of interchangeable left and right hands and two head sculpt stands.
▼ Purchases made through the Prime 1 Studio online store will also receive an exclusive "Batman Skull" bonus.
