BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Toy Department, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially announced the latest addition to their popular die-cast toy series, "Soul of Chogokin," from "The King of Braves FINAL." The "GX-112 Repli-GaiGar & Option Set" is scheduled for release in August 2024 and will be exclusively sold on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The silver Repli-Galleon, like Repli-Mamoru Amami, was an accidental byproduct created when the Sol 11 Planetary Masters' regeneration system, the "Pas-Q Machine," was stolen. They were brainwashed and enhanced by the Planetary Masters, becoming their servants and tools to invade Earth to reclaim the Pas-Q Machine. Repli-Mamoru could not only fuse with Repli-Galleon to transform into "Repli-GaiGar," but after seizing the Gao Train, Gao Drill, and Gao Stealth II machines, he could combine with them to form Repli-GaoGaiGar. Despite being a replica, it possessed combat power equal to the original. In the Kyoto decisive battle, it fought GaoFighGar to a standstill and even unleashed the ultimate attack, "Hell and Heaven - Limit Release," surpassing the original's power to pierce through ChoRyuJin.
The "GX-112 Repli-GaiGar & Option Set" product includes one Repli-GaiGar, one Gao Stealth II, and a rich set of accessories. By combining it with the separately sold "Soul of Chogokin GX-68 King of Braves GaoGaiGar," you can assemble various forms such as "Star GaoGaiGar," "Repli-GaoGaiGar," and "GaoGaiGar (non-transforming head)."
The Repli-GaiGar utilizes a modified version of the previously released GaiGar body, with parts such as the lion head and claws repainted in metallic silver. Its entire design features flexible articulation and a transformation mechanism to recreate "Repli-GaiGar." The combination mechanism, of course, fully inherits the design of the original GaiGar, allowing it to combine with the Gao Train, Gao Drill, and Gao Stealth machines. Additionally, the product includes a clear green Repli-Mamoru mini-figure, which can be placed in the lion's mouth to recreate scenes from the show.
The Gao Stealth II is identical to the version previously included in the "GX-68X Star GaoGaiGar Expansion Parts Set" and comes with a dedicated display stand. Its body features cool black armor and metallic-painted Phantom Rings and Protect Rings. These two rings can be equipped to GaoGaiGar's left and right hands to recreate poses for Phantom Gauntlet and Protect Shade. The Voltec Engines mounted at the ends of both wings include effect parts to recreate their activated state. These parts are made of clear material with "IRIS plating," maintaining translucency while the surface coating changes its reflective color depending on the viewing angle.
