World-renowned high-end collectible figure manufacturer Hot Toys, following the release of several products based on the Star Wars series "Ahsoka" and the recent "Jedi Apprentice Ahsoka", has once again announced the latest product from the series: the "Mandalorian Super Commando" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship from Q1 to Q2 2025, with a suggested retail price of HKD 1,630.
The Mandalorian Super Commandos are, by lore, a combat unit loyal to the Sith Lord "Darth Maul." Their most distinctive external features are their ochre-red armor and helmets with horns, resembling Darth Maul's head sculpt. This collectible figure is designed based on the live-action series' depiction of Ahsoka's flashback to her Jedi Apprentice days, reliving a segment of the Clone Wars. The setting for that period was the Siege of Mandalore, where Ahsoka and Captain Rex led a contingent of clone troopers in fierce combat against the Mandalorian Super Commandos.
This figure stands approximately 31 cm tall and features over 30 points of articulation, meticulously recreating the Mandalorian Super Commando's brown battle suit, the red armor covering it, and the iconic horned T-visor helmet. The figure boasts excellent rust weathering and battle-worn scratch effects, enhancing its realistic atmosphere. Other details include a leather-textured utility belt and holster, missile launchers on the forearm gauntlets and knee pads, and more. Accessories include a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, a blue translucent energy shield attachable to the left forearm, multiple interchangeable hands, and a desert-themed display base with a character nameplate. Notably, the jetpack features a magnetic attachment function. Overall, it's truly fierce and cool!
