Japan's RE-MENT toy company, skilled in creating exquisite accessories and miniature models, announced several new products yesterday (the 5th). Among them, two are themed around Snoopy from "Peanuts." This article will provide product information for the "Snoopy Japanese Cafe" (tentative translation, Wagashi Cafe SNOOPY) miniature set, scheduled for release in June 2024, with a suggested retail price of 900 JPY per box.
Unlike the "Snoopy Antique Diorama Collection," also releasing in June, which offers high expressiveness with a single piece, this "Snoopy Japanese Cafe" set becomes more enjoyable the more you collect – ideally, purchasing a full box for the most complete experience – and is ready to let you visually indulge in a wonderful afternoon tea time! The contents include Olaf-shaped matcha ice cream, Snoopy and Woodstock-shaped grilled dango, red bean soup, mochi, and other desserts, as well as exquisite savory dishes. It also features wooden chairs with Snoopy carved into the backrests, four-legged tables, and interior decorations like wooden-textured shelves and screens. Even a "Wagashi Cafe SNOOPY" themed paper bag is included, making it impossible to resist! Purchasing a full box also grants you a background paper card that recreates the cafe's interior.
RE-MENT "Snoopy Japanese Cafe" has a total of 8 styles to collect:
1. Welcome (Irasshaimase)
2. Please Enjoy Our Signature Matcha Sweets (Tōten jiman no omatcha suītsu o meshiagare)
3. Please Try Grilling It Yourself (Gojishin de yakitate o dōzo)
4. Today's Daily Special Lunch (Honjitsu no hinawari ranchi desu)
5. Take a Breather in a Tranquil Space (Nagomi no kūkan de hotto hitoiki)
