Japan's Megahouse company, under its "PETITRAMA EX (プチラマ)" series which produces small-scale anime-related diorama box sets, has announced the release of a box set product based on the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" – "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Their Journey." It will be available in both a regular edition and a limited edition, with an anticipated release in July 2024!
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" explores the brevity and brilliance of human life from the subjective perspective of its protagonist, Frieren, an elf with an exceptionally long lifespan. The theme of lifespan permeates the entire work, creating a melancholic yet heartwarming atmosphere. This product features three figures of the main characters: Frieren, Fern, and Stark. The limited edition also includes a bronze statue of the hero Himmel!
Frieren is depicted in a dynamic pose holding a magic book, with a spell circle effect for her "killing magic" displayed behind her. The base recreates the castle rooftop scene from the second episode of the anime, where the "Blue Moon Weed" from hero Himmel's hometown was found, capturing various important elements of Frieren from the series.
Fern and Stark, on the other hand, respectively showcase the gifts Frieren and Stark gave to Fern, as well as iconic elements like Stark's victory over the Fire Dragon. These various character elements are faithfully reproduced within an approximate 8.5 cm scale.
A major highlight of this release is the limited edition's included bronze statue of the hero Himmel, which recreates the hero's statue that Frieren and Fern cleaned in the second episode of the anime. Additionally, it comes with a wreath of Blue Moon Weed, allowing collectors to place a wreath on Himmel, just like Frieren does in the series!
