American toy brand Sideshow Collectibles, following their previous "Beetlejuice", is once again releasing a horror-themed product. This new piece, based on the classic horror miniseries "It", is the "Pennywise" 1/6 scale collectible figure. The suggested retail price is US$285, with an estimated release in March 2025!
The 1990 horror miniseries "It" was adapted from Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name, "It". The story tells of a strange figure dressed as a clown, Pennywise, who suddenly appears in Derry, leading to a series of terrifying events. 27 years later, when [[OBJ_3330]] reappears, the protagonists decide to unite and confront [[OBJ_3330]]. The broadcast of "It" back then instilled a fear of clowns in many people. After Warner Bros.' New Line Cinema acquired the rights in 2017 to produce a new version of "It", the fear of this evil clown was once again brought back to the public's consciousness in a new way!
This "Pennywise" 1/6 scale collectible figure faithfully recreates the classic look of the 1990 version of Pennywise from the miniseries. The head sculpt meticulously captures actor Tim Curry's chillingly smiling face, and the red faux fur realistically reproduces the hair on both sides of the clown's head. The snarling alternate head sculpt is even more terrifyingly detailed. The costume is made from various materials such as silk and satin, faithfully restoring Pennywise's clown attire. Accessories also include balloons used to lure children and Georgie's paper boat, which can be used to recreate that heartbreaking storm drain scene... Oh no, Georgie...
